Xavi Simons is set to return to Barcelona next season after a successful loan spell at RB Leipzig in the ongoing campaign.

According to Relevo Matteo Moretto the Blaugrana hierarchy highly values the Dutch winger and wants to bring him back.

The signing of the Dutchman could lead Barca to complete their plans to sign another winger such as Nico Williams or Dani Olmo in the summer.

However Simons potential arrival is unlikely to affect Joao Felix future. For now Barca plan to bring Felix back on loan from Atletico Madrid next season.

Xavi has been enjoying a great 2023/24 season scoring nine goals and providing 15 assists in all competitions.
